More than 368 million tons of plastic waste are being produced globally every year. The plastic waste management system accounted for 18% of plastic re-cycling, 24% were incinerated, while the remaining 58% ended up as landfills in the natural environment. Several regions and market players from Europe, Singapore, Australia, Canada, USA, India, and UK have amended new laws to phase out Single-use Plastics products like cutlery to cater to the rising demand for change.
